Origin of the idea

The idea of research 2.0 originated in an intensive care unit where Aarna a 2‐year‐old child continued to struggle for her life and still remains a mystery to medical community. Born to a physician couple from Texas who has made every effort to diagnose and treat their child who suffers from a rare metaolic disorder with no definitive treatment.Touched by Aarna’s story and realizing the need to form collaborative tools to improve the existing research.

About Us

Slideworld is founded by a group of health care professionals and web enthusiasts who believe research knowledge should be freely available to all. We do believe that as researchers we care and would like to share to improve the health of our children and upcoming generations. There is lot more to be done to improve the life worldwide. We intend to initiate the project “Research 2.0" which is an extension of the project www.slideworld.org making a platform for sharing research work worldwide.
