Abstract : The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of photocoagulation on diabetic macular edema. The study was based on comparison of central visual acuity before and after the photocoagulation. The focal photocoagulatin or grid photocoagulation.was done at the treatment of diabetic macular edema. Sequence panretinal photocoagulation was done at the patiens with severe nonproliferative or proliferative diabetic retinopathy.
